The article Mjolnir Utility Vehicle (MUV) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article doesn't provide reliable sources confirming this subject's notability, and I was not able to find sources with my own search.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi! Wikipedia isn't a forum for advertising, and the rules don't allow us to use the name of a business as a username, so I've blocked this account and deleted the advertisement you created. Although we have strict rules against advertising, we're otherwise very nice people, so if you're interested in volunteering to help write the encyclopedia, you're entirely welcome. Just create a personal username and jump right in- but be careful to avoid writing about your own business. Thanks! If you believe this block is an error, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Mjolnir Utility Vehicle (MUV), to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. v/r - TP 17:29, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Mjolnir Utility Vehicle (MUV), you may have a conflict of interest. 2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.v/r - TP 17:29, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's a hoax; I did find a web site for the Astrobionix company. I just don't think it's notable enough for us to find any reliable information on it. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:31, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I couldnt find any real search results for the company. The website I found was a paid advertisement. Also couldnt find any results for the specific product either. The paid advertisement could've been created yesterday considering there are no other results and I'd expect at least something when I quote the title of the company. I felt this was more of a hoax, but I guess I could assume good faith that it could be simple spam (if you consider that a step better than a hoax).--v/r - TP 17:38, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Meh. Either it's a fake business and a hoax article, which gets blocked and deleted, or it's a real but non-notable business and a promotional article, which gets blocked and deleted. The outcome is the same, so I don't care much. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:39, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, agreed!--v/r - TP 18:18, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello FisherQueen, I was testing the sandbox and I don´t know how things have gotten posted. It is not an hoax. I am developing a new method of emergency medical intervention. I can remove the company name..was just trying to give the right credit to whoever financed the project. What I care about is to initiate a page for Mjolnir vehicles, which demand a new way of intervention by EMTs. GM Cabibbe for AstroBionix

As I said earlier, this subject doesn't appear to meet Wikipedia's notability criteria, but when it does, it's inevitable that someone outside the company will read about it in reliable sources and write an article. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:52, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with FisherQueen here. This isn't an attempt to snub you or delete your contributions. You are more than welcome to contribute by a name that meets our WP:Username policy. As far as your article, it simply doesn't meet our notability guidelines. When the subject appears in third party reliable sources for verification, someone without a conflict of interest will inevitably create the article for you. However, if that doesn't happen quick enough, I suggest you build the article in articles for creation section and let them know of your COI. That way they can best judge the article against our guidelines for inclusion. I hope this doesn't deter you from contributing under a new alias and I highly encourage you to read the policies I've linked for you. Good luck and happy editting.--v/r - TP 21:40, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
