Citation and Copyedit[edit]

Great work. On your citations, instead of "author=" use "last= |first=" for more accuracy. Good instinct to shorten; however, be sure you don't leave out any important information. —Grlucas (talk) 13:59, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review[edit]

Hey Amber! I think this article is a good base for you to work on. I am glad you decided to make separate sections for history and animals, as it gives better organization for the article. Removing the ad-like section was also good, so hopefully, that issue can be removed from the banner above the article. This article seems to meet all of the elements for the best Wikipedia articles except for balanced coverage and sourcing. I say the sourcing is an issue because two of the citations do not list authors. If you can't find the authors, I would recommend you substitute the source with ones that give the same information. This is obvious, but the main thing the article needs right now is more information. Adding to both the history and animal sections are of course a good idea. You could probably pull from the website to add more about the history and what types of animals are at the center. I found some sources that may be helpful to you (though you may have already found them). There is an article about the passing of a popular lion at the center, that lion was a part of the popular trio that is mentioned in the Wikipedia article.[1] I also found a magazine article about Jama Hedgecoth that details the event of her finding the zebra on the interstate.[2] Make sure you are logged into Galileo to see it. Also, it might be good to update their revenue since it is a bit dated. Maybe you can even add how many donations they get on average. I don't know easy it would be to find that information but it may be worth the search. I think you did a great job copyediting and I look forward to seeing your changes to the article. I hope I was helpful and good luck!— Sabub (talk) 05:58, 29 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
