Welcome[edit]

Hello, and thanks for your note on my talk page. I appreciate your reasonable approach - as you might imagine, people are often upset when entries they've worked on are deleted. I'll try to answer your questions in general, though I have to say I don't remember the specifics of the article you mention offhand.

The central notability criteria for Wikipedia are found here, and boil down to the idea that a subject should be mentioned non-trivially in independent, reliable outside sources in order to be "notable". This is based on the need for such sources to write a neutral, encyclopedic entry which rises beyond the level of a definition, advertisement, or rehash of material already found elsewhere on the Web.

There are sub-categories of notability criteria for specific types of subjects. I think your product would fall under our criteria for Web content, as well as possibly our criteria for corporations and organizations. Without knowing the specifics, I couldn't say if RecallPlus meets these criteria. I'd suggest taking a look at them and deciding if you think RecallPlus meets the "notability" criteria. If you think it does, then go ahead and re-create the article, taking into account the need to demonstrate "notability". If there are issues with deletion at that point, let me know and I can help you navigate the appropriate arcane Wikipedia processes. I hope that's helpful; feel free to leave another note on my talk page if I can help you with anything else. MastCell Talk 03:53, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I suggest you leave it for someone with no COI to write the article. A person who thinks that their product is "the ABSOLUTE DOMINANT FUTURE of study" is clearly a spammer. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 03:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
