Ealing Broadway Platform 9[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ealing Broadway Platform 9, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Ealing Broadway Platform 9. wangi (talk) 09:07, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted article[edit]

Hi. I deleted the article as it appeared you had requested it to be deleted by adding {{db-author}} to it. The article has been put into user space at User:Colonel Warden/Sandbox. I suggest you work with User:Colonel Warden to try and improve the article given the comments at the AFD and then look to re-create it. Pedro :  Chat  12:35, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This may be the smartest way forward since it aborts the current AFD which was becoming too nasty. The article can be recreated without prejudice since it was pulled voluntarily. Is that ok with you? Colonel Warden (talk) 12:47, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why your article was rejected; and a reminder about signing your posts to talk pages[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! I'm sorry you feel frustrated; but Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Many topics, even when verifiable, are too non-notable to merit their own articles here. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:04, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the help.. I will do this in future ( Atgio (talk) 14:09, 3 April 2008 (UTC) )[reply]

Platform 9[edit]

I added a couple of photos to the article this morning. I don't like to steal your thunder but we must keep up the pace of improvement while the AFD discussion continues. You will see from the formatting how it's done and there are more details at WP:IMAGE. Colonel Warden (talk) 14:34, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Colonel Warden for all you're help! I think the page I created though, on Ealing Broadway Platform 9 has been deleted :( *sob sob* .. thank you anyway for you're support CW.. ( Atgio (talk) 22:13, 9 April 2008 (UTC) )[reply]

A draft still exists in my sandbox where we can develop it. Perhaps it might be better as Ealing Broadway District Line, covering platforms 7-9, which encompasses the material of interest. We have 29200 Google hits for this and this will be a more solid foundation for the article. Perhaps you could say tell me why you selected just Platform 9 specifically. My User Account[edit]

Please delete my wiki user account, as this whole business about the article has left me feeling very sad. I no longer want to be part of this site. Please remove every aspect of my "atgio" user account Thank you Atgio (talk) 14:29, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fotopic[edit]

The companies house listing of fotopic has nothing to do with the current off-line status of fotopic.net and the fotopic companies have not been the owners of fotopic.net since the summer of 2008. The owners are an ANY-web subsidary called Snappy Designs. Snappy Designs is still trading.

The liquidation of the fotopic companies has no connection with the current web site status, which has more to do with problems with Kingston Communications.

You edit was misleading. See http://groups.google.co.uk/group/former-fotopic-users/about for further information by those who have been determining what has happened, including the fotopic's founder (who sold it on in May 2008). --Stewart (talk | edits) 18:20, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Valerie Holiday[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Valerie Holiday. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Valerie Holiday. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
