Proposed deletion of Aranya

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Aranya, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Regarding Aranya

Well, of course I'm not going to request the article's deletion without giving people the chance to improve it! Regarding the citations, do you know how to make in-text citations? I can quickly teach you if you need, it's quite easy. Anyway, my main concern is the overall quality of the article. For example, the first paragraph of the "ARANYA 2008" section is really unnecessary. Articles at Wikipedia shouldn't speak directly to the reader, that's why the use of "you" or "we" is totally discouraged. Remember that we need to keep a neutral point of view. In other words, editors should not add comments, opinions, etc. For example, no matter how popular the Beatles were, one should never state that they are good on their article here at Wiki. On the other hand, we know that they were popular and this is unquestionable (they have sold like, more than a billion copies?). If you just remove all comments, opinions, non-neutral statements, then the article is sure to increase its quality. Victor Lopes (talk) 22:36, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
