This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Threston Surname, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://eol.org/collections/97809.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Sir Richard Threston, and I noticed that your username, "AustralianThreston", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Trammel Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", and "WidgetFan87". Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a username change that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Your username suggests that you may have a personal conflict of interest with respect to the multiple articles you have created in the subject area of Threston. I strongly suggest that you please read the COI guidelines. Hasteur (talk) 17:34, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well thank you for taking the time to explain that to me. I do apologize. I did not know.--AustralianThreston (talk) 12:00, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I'm pretty sure this warning is placed in error. If your username represented a company, that would be a violation. In this case, it appears to represent a person named Threston from Australia, who happens to be interested in the history of his family name. No issues here. Carry on! WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:39, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There is nothing wrong policy wise with this username, as stated at your name change request. Mlpearc (open channel) 18:21, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sir Richard Threston, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sacerdos. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

All articles, sources and citations are real and legitimate. This person is notable due to his political involvement in Pennsylvania and while decedent related material isn't criteria for inclusion in this case it is a supporting factor. Requesting page protecting to avoid small mined people tampering again. --AustralianThreston (talk) 11:56, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There are criteria for requesting page protection and they don't apply here. Also, I recommend you avoid throwing around insults like "small mined people", especially if you won't bother to spell correctly. Wikipedia is not here for you to accomplish stuff and you would do well to help us build an encyclopedia before you attempt writing articles on your own. Chris Troutman (talk) 16:54, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And I quote directly from Wikipedia "On Wikipedia, notability is a test used by editors to decide whether a given topic warrants its own article. Information on Wikipedia must be verifiable; if no reliable third-party sources can be found on a topic, then it should not have a separate article. Wikipedia's concept of notability applies this basic standard to avoid indiscriminate inclusion of topics. Article and list topics must be notable, or "worthy of notice". Determining notability does not necessarily depend on things such as fame, importance, or popularity—although those may enhance the acceptability of a subject that meets the guidelines explained below."

How can someone with verifiable, credible THIRD party references and sources be deleted. Especially when it is made a stub to allow more time to collect additional information and sourcing. --AustralianThreston (talk) 19:30, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Sir Edward Threston and T.R. Threston. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. I have been posting on the appropriate pages for deletion and being ignored. Kindly tell me how someone with credible, verifiable third party sources and references is up for deletion and meets all other nobility requirements. --AustralianThreston (talk) 19:31, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The merits of each article can be discussed on their respective AfD pages. Other editors do not have to discuss with you if they don't wish to. After enough editors have registered opinions, an admin will determine if there is a consensus for or against deletion and act accordingly. If you can make a good case or improve each article, you might forestall deletion. Chris Troutman (talk) 22:00, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

FUCK OFF! I deleted the entire page. As I have repeatedly said I AM NOT T.R. Threston but if any of the slanderous things written by the staff on Wikipedia remain, I'm sure a law suit will not be far behind. And people wonder why Wikipedia isn't allowed as a reliable reference for REAL research. I certainly know why now!! --AustralianThreston (talk) 22:08, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
