Hi, Andrew, welcome to WP. I hope you enjoy being here. Please stop your disruptive editing at the above-mentioned article. Not only are you inserting typos, but your have misunderstood Wikipedia:STATUSQUO and Wikipedia:FALSETITLE. Please visit the Wikipedia:Teahouse if you need help with your editing. Please remember not to edit war in the future. Thank you.

The above mentioned articles are essays and not policies or guidelines that must be followed. - --AutisticAndrew 23:30, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
Well, one is. Again, please do not edit disruptively or engage in edit warring. And remember to preview your edits. Take care. Caro7200 (talk) 23:34, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
After clicking neither are policies or guidelines, only essays. --AutisticAndrew 23:35, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
WP:JUSTESSAY may help you understand why those essays were linked. I agree with Caro that the edits weren't an improvement. If you disagree, the thing to do is start a discussion on the talk page, not edit war. After all, on the talk page you can explain to me where you think I've misunderstood or am mistaken; it's difficult to do that in edit summaries. EducatedRedneck (talk) 01:16, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. GoldRomean (talk) 22:34, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

Although I've noticed you at recent changes more recently. Thanks for your counter-vandalism work, just try to warn those vandals! GoldRomean (talk) 22:35, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

I meant to leave this notice here a few days ago but forgot. Feel free to archive or delete this after you've read it. DanCherek (talk) 19:32, 10 June 2024 (UTC)

Hello! Sorry for removing the CST template without warning.

Did I miss any news about Mbappé's transfer to Real Madrid? I thought it was all done now... Oltrepier (talk) 16:15, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

@Oltrepier: You haven't missed anything as far as I am aware, the only thing left to happen is the official announcement of the transfer. - --AutisticAndrew 17:40, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
Wait, do you mean this announcement? Oltrepier (talk) 17:56, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
@Oltrepier: Yes, but also he is still under contract with PSG, so it'll be made officially official on the expiry of the contract. --AutisticAndrew 20:24, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Edit Summaries aren't required, but it makes it easier for other Wikipedians to quickly and easily know the nature of changes being made. This, in turn, lets others expand upon those changes or open up a dialogue to figure out if something should be changed back. Lindsey40186 (talk) 16:30, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
