Topics?[edit]

Hi! Please put up 2 or 3 page ideas that you would like to start working on, along with a short justification for why they deserve your hard work. Thanks! Daclausen (talk) 14:56, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page Ideas[edit]

The three pages I was hoping to contribute too were

Nebraska Cornhuskers Bowling team

Nebraska Gymnastics

Nebraska Rifle team

All of these pages have something in common, there all exceptional sports here at the University that dont have an exceptional wiki page to go along with them. Specifically I would like to work on the Bowling teams page because there are by far the most dominant NCAA program and their page is pretty barren.

Page Topic Idea[edit]

I would like to build upon the current page for Student Athletes here on wikipedia. The page itself has a good start but contains quite a few weasel words and itself only covers student athletes here in the United States. Both of these are issues that need to be fixed for a decent article and the article is missing probably the most important development of the student athlete, which is student athlete financial compensation. The debate on whether or not to compensate athletes is at the forefront of college athletics right now and its important that the page accurately reflects the conversation being had around the country on whether to pay student athletes or not.
