June 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Felida97. I noticed that in this edit to Roger Dean (artist), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 19:42, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Felida, I left you a message in TALK, sorry about not putting in update in the edit summary, not idea about this but will remember in future.
I'm hoping I can count on you to scrutinise further text edits that I intend to make in future. There are some inaccuracies here and there in the text, although it is brilliantly detailed with beautiful citations.
All the best

Hi, thank you for your message and sorry for the late reply. No worries regarding your edit, I assumed that your intentions were good. But you not only added the updated photo, you also removed the infobox and inserted a broken version of the image at the very bottom of the page with your edit (just so that you know why I reverted your edit). You can try adding it again, replacing the image and caption in the infobox (following the existing formatting/content in the infobox parameters image and caption), assuming that you indeed took this photo yourself and are the copyright holder (otherwise, it would be a copyright violation, which is taken very seriously on Wikipedia). I will also leave another message below with some helpful links if you want to continue editing. Don't be discouraged by my revert, it's not unusual to need some time as a newcomer to navigate the editing side of Wikipedia. Let me know if you have any question (you can reply here but please ping me by inserting @[[User:Felida97|Felida9]] at the beginning of your message, so that I get a notification and you don't have to notify me on my talk page yourself) and happy editing :) Felida97 (talk) 21:10, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
