Welcome[edit]

Hello, m.manary, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

SLUH[edit]

I've found this page (and been laughing so hard about SBI's comments, since he obviously has no life) and figured I'd promote the z4.invisionfree.com/Academic_Competition/index.php website since you're obviously a Missouri quizbowl player.

All your edits on SLUH look fine. Thanks for the contributions. Since you're new here (or your user account, in any case), I thought you probably should read over Wikipedia:Autobiography. Thanks. --Kbh3rdtalk 03:18, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

May 12, 2006: I removed your most recent edits on the SLUH home page. Both were correct prior to revisions. Dr. Thomas A. Dooley was awarded the "Congressional Gold Medal of Honor," which is not the same as the "Medal of Honor." The Medal of Honor is a military award. The Congressional Gold Medal of Honor is for both military and civilian recipients. Check out Wikipedia's own articles to get complete details. But Dooley is a recipient of the "Congressional Gold Medal of Honor" and the link in the article takes you to the correct page and the page lists Dooley as a recipient.

Also, Westfall was elected to countwide office more than anyone in St. Louis history. I'll footnote that fact as soon as I get the change.

Hello, M.manary. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:CaltechLogo.png) was found at the following location: User:M.manary. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 07:58, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please help render "Be Prepared", the Scout Motto, into Chichewa? Thanks! Chris 01:08, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-Will do. I assume we are talking about "You (singular) should be prepared" Micah J. Manary 23:32, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
