I haven't read the Official Babylon 5 Magazine, but since "Ruling from the Tomb" was listed third under chronological order when I first saw the Crusade Wikipedia page a few years ago, I thought/hoped that order was given in the magazine and that it had been changed in Across Time and Space, which I own and know lists "Ruling from the Tomb" tenth. Did it change from the magazine to the book? -- Noneofyourbusiness (talk) 23:02, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, as it was listed in Across Time and Space was how it first appeared in the magazine. Chronologically speaking Ruling from the Tomb was June 2267, as emblazoned on the Conference banner on the podium stand in the hall was the date June 15th 2267. To be honest I don't know why it was put incorrectly on this wiki page when my data has been available since the magazine's publication way back when. Thanks for taking the time to contact me, I'm glad you have the book. The Historical Database work was a labour of love for me and I'm proud that it was used as reference in the showB5historyman (talk)

Thank you for replying. Personally, I find it easier to ignore the banner date than to believe that Lochley and Gideon's memories of each other work backwards. Fortunately, I discovered some viewing orders in "Crusade: Other Voices Volume 2" that make more sense to me (either JMS's revised intended order or Jason Davis's all-inclusive order). -- Noneofyourbusiness (talk) 17:40, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As I am the person that compiled the chronology I am not afforded the luxury of ignoring the on screen dates unless instructed by jms: the dates are official, and as written in the book if you have it, you will know I based the running order on the internal continuity. Having had access to the script material at the time I've never had a problem with the running order I came up with based on that. As a lot of the script material is now in the public domain, people can think how they want of course, I would expect them to at least acknowledge the official history however. I am glad there is still the interest in the shows after all these years and people are still passionate about the internal history as I am. I am just fortunate enough to be the one who got to write the official version!~~

Amnesty Appeal for Writer Sentenced to Death in Saudia Arabia[edit]

This came to my attention through my professor, author Nnedi Okorafor's, Twitter feed.
