Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Shootout (film series), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages John Abraham and Arbaaz Khan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 14th IIFA Awards may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Your contributed article, Bollywood Films in 2014

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Bollywood Films in 2014. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List_of_Bollywood_films_of_2014. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List_of_Bollywood_films_of_2014 – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Evano1van(எவனோ ஓருவன்) 19:34, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Varun Dhawan and Sonakshi Sinha modeling for Stardust Magazine.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Orphaned non-free image File:Varun Dhawan on Stardust Magazine.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Varun Dhawan on Stardust Magazine.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:00, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Ayushmann Khurrana on the Cover of Men's Health.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Ayushmann Khurrana on the Cover of Men's Health.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Psychonaut (talk) 19:55, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:14th IIFA Awards logo.jpg

[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:14th IIFA Awards logo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you object to the listing for any reason. Thank you. Psychonaut (talk) 20:04, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Shootout (film series) for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Shootout (film series) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shootout (film series) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Psychonaut (talk) 20:13, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Bollywood 100 Crore Club does not have an edit summary. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Bollywood 100 Crore Club may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Controversy and criticism of Big Brother (U.S.), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cocoa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). August 2013 (2)

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Big Brother 15 (U.S.) ‎. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Singularity42 (talk) 23:10, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Continued warring

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Cdtew (talk) 02:03, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Satyagraha Boxoffice Matter

[edit]

Hi BBINDFAN (Weird Name),

I noticed that you added Box office collection with BollywoodHungama as reference. In wikipedia, according to a consensus, Boxoffice India is consulted as a reference. The reason for avoiding BH as a source is such websites have promotional agreement with films and provide approximate and biased figures. Please refrain from doing so in the future or you may risk getting blocked. There is another site called Koimoi, headed by Komal Nahta which had PR agreement with Chennai Express. Moreover Satyagraha is not an Amitabh-starrer since when Gangajal was being made there was no BigB. Hope you'll understand.        19:35, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do not edit

[edit]

Hello BBINDFAN, Please do not try to edit "List of bollywood films of 2013" (Specially Net gross of films) if you dont have correct information about them. I appreciate your bollywood faning but it is not right to include wrong information in it. Thanks -- Yasir Mushtaq (talk) 02:36, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The file File:Gurdwara guru nanak.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

According to EXIF, the copyright holder is John Kenney/THE GAZETTE. No evidence of a free license.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
