Warning on edits to KASN article
[edit]You have been warned! KASN (UPN/CW) is *NOT* owned by CBS Corporation. It is well-known in the Little Rock area to be owned by Clear Channel Communications, owner of its sister TV station KLRT-TV (Fox) as well as several radio stations, all of which have their studios in a facility known as the "Clear Channel Metroplex". FCC records confirm that KASN is owned by Clear Channel, and that *NO* applications have been filed to sell KASN. There is *NO* news of KASN being sold on either the Clear Channel or CBS Corporation websites. Finally, with the amount of investment Clear Channel has put into its "duopoly" of sorts (KLRT-TV and KASN were Little Rock's first two full-power digital stations, beating the CBS and NBC affiliates; the ABC affiliate, the traditional market leader, still isn't full-power), it makes NO SENSE for Clear Channel to sell KASN now.
