Federal reserve

I would like to point out that on Wikipedia, articles should remain nuetral as per WP:NPOV. Now while I too believe the federal reserve is an abuse of congressional power, the current description is sufficient. In general, we should avoid speculation. The Federal Reserve System itself is considered official where as the member banks are private. Your edit. Your statement " the system is in fact a private cartel that serves the interests of the largest and most powerful banking and financial institutions in the world. " unfortunately cannot yet be proven and is hence speculation(unless you can find reliable sources as per WP:RS).
