File source and copyright licensing problem with File:RedlandsPalms07small.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:RedlandsPalms07small.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 17:04, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Use of bold type[edit]

Hi, I noticed you are making a lot of changes to the Redlands, California article. Just so you know, bold type should rarely be used in the body of the article per MOS:BOLD. Basically, I believe almost everything that you've added in bold type can just be shown in a regular font. I think this article may have had too much in bold type to begin with. I appreciate your efforts to make Wikipedia a better encyclopedia. Thanks, 72Dino (talk) 18:35, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Cajon High School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AVID (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello again. While you have added some info, your recent edits are disruptive. For example, you add "FOR profit" when the proper description would be "for profit". Please look at the Manual of Style for Wikipedia and comport you edits in accordance with the MOS. Thanks. – S. Rich (talk) 06:39, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
