Hello, I am excited to join the Wikipedia family and to share more about the wonderful culture and cultural figures of The Bahamas.

I've written my first article "K.B. (Kirkland Bodie)" and it has been flagged.

I tried to keep it as simple as possible and included as many references as were available.

Please offer any suggestions or rewrites for an improved format.

With thanks,

It was deleted because of blatant advertising and the talk page, where you also listed a "help" question was deleted. Wikipedia is not a webhost for advertising. SwisterTwister talk 07:30, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello SwisterTwister, thanks for your review and quick response. I have revised and reposted the article in my userspace at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Bahamian_Culture/K.B._(Kirkland_Bodie). FYI, most of my sources are official Bahamas news media sources. I have also referenced a book, official government and academic website sources. Please review my redraft and feel free to make any further suggestions.

Help me!

[edit]

Hello Wikipedians, I have created my first article for K.B. (Kirkland Bodie), a Bahamian entertainer, which was marked as having promotional language and taken down. I have since revised the article and it is on my user subpage. I have tried to make the language as straight forward as possible and have included references for virtually everything written. My sources are from official Bahamas news media and I have also referenced a book, official government and academic website sources. I looked at quite a number of other musician and artist bios on Wikipedia and compared them to what I wrote, before posting, the first time. I don't find my article any more promotional than some of what I've seen. Please review my revised draft at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Bahamian_Culture/K.B._(Kirkland_Bodie) and feel free to offer any further revision or formatting advice. With thanks, Bahamian Culture (talk) 00:18, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
