Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Conversion (barn) do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Dirk Beetstra T C 21:35, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits made to Los Cristianos[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Barnsdirect! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bexample\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 21:39, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Conversion (barn). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Dirk Beetstra T C 21:51, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Castle-harbour.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Castle-harbour.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:05, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Final warning[edit]

Please stop using Wikipedia as an advertising board. I have speedily deleted the image you have added to Los Cristianos as copyright violation, and reverted your edits to the article.

This is your final warning; the next time you add promotional content or links to articles, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Mike Rosoft 12:20, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Castle Harbour, Tenerife, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SkierRMH 22:23, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Creating spam pages[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Carbon neutral, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. (Note that links to things with different names aren't appropriate for a disambiguation page, and that links to the company involved will continue to be removed unless notability is established (notability guidelines for companies).) --ais523 16:11, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
