Template:European Parliament election, 2014 (Netherlands) candidate lists[edit]

Dear BasBr1,

Hello and nice to meet you.

I saw your reversion of my edits on Template:European Parliament election, 2014 (Netherlands) candidate lists, back to ALLCAPS for some party names.

It doesn't matter that names were styled in ALLCAPS in the sources – they shouldn't be repeated that way on Wikipedia. Please read the Wikipedia Manual of Style at Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Capital_letters#All_caps. In almost all instances, ALLCAPS should be reduced to sentence case, or in the case of book titles or newspaper headlines, to title case. The parties' names are not acronyms or other types of names that should be written in ALLCAPS. Even if they are usually stylized in capitals, they should be reduced, and as an example, the titles of the Wikipedia articles for these political parties do not have their names in ALLCAPS.

Please let me know if you want to make the changes to sentence case, or if you prefer me to do it.

Regards,

Ira

Disambiguation link notification for April 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Party lists in the 2019 European Parliament election in the Netherlands, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paul Tang (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:02, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of Forum for Democracy Members of the European Parliament, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:List of 50PLUS Members of the European Parliament, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:25, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

correcting references =[edit]

Hi Bas! Thanks for the changes to Template:European Parliament MEPs, 2019-2024 (Netherlands). Thing is, putting back the references that I removed ends up breaking the Netherlands (European Parliament constituency) article. What's the best way to get both articles working correctly? -- Mikeblas (talk) 23:40, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, BasBr1. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "List of 50PLUS Members of the European Parliament".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Lapablo (talk) 13:58, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
