Welcome to Wikipedia

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Thanks you! Psdubow 21:17, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not post false or unverifiable information to Wikipedia, as you did to Ed, Edd n Eddy. It has repeatedly been pointed out that the show is not ending on April 27, since a new episode has been announced for May 11. Even if it was, the show has not ended yet, so the correct designation would be "Present." -- Elaich 20:39, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry! I did not mean to vandalize the Ed, Edd n Eddy article. As soon as I realized that the show was not ending on April 27, I reverted my own edits. I did not mean to add nonfactual information to Wikipeda.

Sincerely,

Baseballmes 00:06, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Task Force

[edit]

Dear Baseballmes,

Another Wikipedian, Cocoaguy, and I just created a Salem Witch Trials task force. If you are interested in history, Massachusetts, colonial America, witchcraft, or instances of religiously motivated violence, then this is the task force for you!

So please check it out!

Sincerely,

Psdubow 23:02, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Colors

[edit]

I dont know if you care about this but, Can you go to Reggie Jacksons and Jeff Nelson (baseball player) talk pages and vote for what colors they should have in there infoboxes, thanks--Yankees10 23:13, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Yankees10[reply]

Seasonal articles

[edit]

Jaranda (talk · contribs) has taken it upon himself to redirect the articles 2006 Kansas City Royals season and 1980 Tampa Bay Buccaneers season. I've saved them and put the underconstruction tag on them, but enough has been said, he's going with the non-notable card. Just an FYI that he is trying to redirect them. Reggie Jackson

[edit]

Can you please go to Reggie jacksons talk page and vote for either A's or Yankees colors in the infobox--Yankees10 17:36, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
