Khaama Press on your user page

[edit]

Hi Bayan. What's the idea of pasting Khaama Press onto your user page adding "Bayanshamal" insted of "Khaama Press"? Best, Sam Sailor Sing 11:17, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Bayan 88.5, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Sam Sailor Sing 11:24, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've contested the speedy deletion. It may be notable. If you would like to submit it for review, please click "Submit the page!" in the box at the top of the draft article you created at User:Bayan 88.5. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 11:43, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. But the user page is a copy-paste of Khaama Press, Anna. Best, Sam Sailor Sing 11:58, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, double fair enough. :) I didn't catch that. Thank you. I just deleted it. If he wants to write about the paper, he can start a section within the parent and then break it away. Many thanks for your due diligence. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:08, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.

The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
