Speedy deletion nomination of Pet Squad[edit]

Hello Bayland,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Pet Squad for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Erick Shepherd (talk) 22:58, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Re-doing Pet Squad article[edit]

Hi Bayland- I was trying to help save your Pet Squad article, but it was deleted before I could get there. Looks like the main issue is that it never aired in the US, so most Wikipedia editors online this time of day aren't familiar with it. Please re-submit the article, but this time make sure you include links to support it. I found several: http://www.radiotimes.com/programme/cw5rj/pet-squad/episodeguide/series-1 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0129vlk http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1980664/ http://www.awn.com/news/cbbc-acquires-darrall-macqueen-s-pet-squad http://www.c21media.net/cbbc-on-patrol-with-pet-squad/ . Including those when you re-post should help. You can also visit the Teahouse for help & answers, and it might be advisable to create the article in the draft space so it can be reviewed before you post it. Don't let the deletion discourage you, and I hope this helps! JamesG5 (talk) 23:06, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page watcher) Since the deleting administrator is not even in the U.S., whether it ever aired there has got nothing to do with it. After all, it is the sources that show how well known the topic is, not editors. Whatever time of day they are online. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 17:38, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I agree. Please try to make it clear in your article exactly what you are writing about. The first sentence needs to say what the subject is - in this case, I gather that it is a TV series, but you did not say so in your first attempts. It would be a good idea to create a draft or use Wikipedia:Articles for creation to get a review or use your sandbox. Deb (talk) 23:16, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
