Hi there Bbob312, and welcome to Wikipedia! I did notice your edit yesterday on JAFZ (thanks for correcting the factual error, btw). As far as creating new articles, I *think* users need to be "auto-confirmed" before they can create articles in the English Wikipedia. Users are usually automatically confirmed 4 days after the date of account creation (or after 10 edits, whichever comes first). In your case, I think the latest you should expect to be autoconfirmed is 6/27.

Also, before creating a new article, I normally check to see if the subject meets Wikipedia's notability requirements and if I can find enough reliable sources to support the text in the new article.
