Stealth Reverting[edit]

On the John_Henry_(folklore) page, you reverted one of my changes, then I challenged it when it showed up in my notifications. A month later, you reverted it again, this time by editing it out directly with an ambiguous tag, so that the revert did not show up in my feed, and so that I had to search through a page of changes to find the reversion. Waiting that long to revert and doing it in such a way that it didn't show up in my notifications this time is inappropriate, as it hides the reversion from me. I should be able to challenge reversions, and I can't do it when you hide them. If we have a conflict on a topic, we should take it to the Talk:John_Henry_(folklore) page. If you intend to revert me again, use the "undo" button so that I know it happened, and then explain your reasoning on the Talk:John_Henry_(folklore) page. I will then in turn provide my reasoning.(Smallvillefanatic (talk) 17:01, 15 March 2014 (UTC))[reply]

Iron triangle (US politics) and your deletions in general[edit]

Hi there,

I came across the fact that Iron triangle (US politics) had been virtually gutted of all information; you called it "original research" but 1) there was a bibliography that you also deleted and 2) it was recognizably (if you've ever read any public choice economics) a standard, textbook presentation of the concept.

I browsed your history a little and oh boy do you like deleting sections. Can I ask that you go a little easier on the trigger finger; not every section without in-text citations is on the same level as "in popular culture" cruft. Stuff like this looks borderline abusive;, especially since you're claiming the material is "uncited" while removing numerous references. IMO a lot of your edits are clearly excessive. Please check yourself. 99.249.15.40 (talk) 19:27, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
