Status and Advice[edit]

Please see the advice on Wikipedia:Translation. The article you translated on Mikhail Stanislavovich Kaniskin is not readable English--and it does not follow the standard conventions on links to ohter WP articles-- see WP:Links

For example "In 2007, Malakov wore the married couple (Elisa Carillo Cabrera and Mikhail Stanislavovich Kaniskin) as principal dancer to Berlin." even the Google translation as "In 2007 the then director of the Berlin state ballet Vladimir Malakhow called the couple (Elisa Carillo Cabrera and Michail Stanislavowitsch Kaniskin) as dancers to Berlin. " is better, with a clear meaning, even though it does not read as fully idiomatic English.

In addition, the personal life section uses adjectives of praise --I don't know what the rule is in the deWP, but the enWP does not do this.

Please rewrite, or ask for assistance. DGG ( talk ) 00:09, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Xenia Wiest moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Xenia Wiest, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). As this is a blp (bio of a living person), almost every assertion should have a reference and a footnote. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Xenia Wiest moved to draftspace[edit]

I fear the sourcing isn't sufficient yet. We need in-depth coverage by a preponderance of independent, third-party sources to establish notability. Based on her work, I'm pretty sure she can clear the notability hurdle, but that needs to be demonstrated with explicit references. Her own website and the Staatsballett site are not suitable for this - these are good for sourcing facts, but not for showing notability.

It appears that Ballett Journal has covered her multiple times. If you can specifically reference instances (i.e., don't just reference the tag search page) and these are suitably in-depth (i.e., not just passing mentions), that might do it. Further coverage by unrelated newspapers, magazines etc. would also be useful.
