User talk:BeEs1
Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, BeEs1! Thank you for your contributions. I am Randykitty and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}}
at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Discover what's going on in the Wikimedia community
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Randykitty (talk) 15:12, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
CrypTool
[edit]Are you a contributor to CrypTool? I note that virtually all content on that is by this or your old BeEs account. Guy (help!) 11:17, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
You are right -- I am the head of the CrypTool project. Nevertheless, information mostly came from the team and I just did the editing. We always tried to fulfill the Wikipedia rules and concentrated on content and facts. What is the reason for your question?--BeEs1 (talk) 11:49, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
- BeEs1, in that case you should not be editing the article directly. Instead you should propose changes on the Talk page and let others review them. You should also declare your conflict of interest. Guy (help!) 14:09, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
- > propose changes on the Talk page
- Ok, I will do so. Does this also apply for changes like a new version number or a new number of users? Best regards, Bernhard --BeEs1 (talk) 14:46, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
