[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Lisa21.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Lisa20.jpg. The copy called Image:Lisa20.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 07:32, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just saw your comments about taking a photo with your camera, but no one can use it without your permission. If you did take the photo, then I think you should realize that when you released it to the public domain you forfeited all rights to the image. You can no longer say "this is my photo, don't touch it without my permission". That's contradictoring to what public domain means. If you don't want people using your photos then do not release them to the public domain. That means, if you take a photo, don't place it on Wikipedia because any personal photo placed on Wikipedia automatically falls into public domain, as copyrighted material is not allowed without meeting our fair-use criteria.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 17:28, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
