Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! --Demiurge1000 (talk) 13:46, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Herve Leger. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. A website whose main focus is selling the product (the dresses) is not a reliable source for material about the company that makes the product. It is also not appropriate as an External link, since it is commercial in nature but not the official website of the company. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 17:07, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Usage of a personal blog[edit]

The blog at http://www.hervelegerobsessed.com should not be used as an article reference unless you can use WP:V to show that this is a known and respected source on matters concerning Herve Leger. This could consist of commentary on the blog in newspapers, magazines or books. The Herve Leger brand seems to be owned by BCBG Max Azria. We would generally look to the company for definitive information. They have an official web site at http://www.bcbg.com. The blog you have cited is 'anonymous' in the sense that the owner or publisher of hervelegerobsessed.com is not identified. This seems to make it unsuitable for Wikipedia.
