Thank you Brookie (Whisper...) I wonder if you can help with something please? I have been trying to request an edit to the Google WaveNet page. I have added an edit request and also suggested a fully referenced edit. However, the page does not seem to have changed. Is there another route I can use to get the community to look at this page? Any help or advice would be appreciated. BeeRightHere (talk) 11:10, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, my name is Eggishorn. I am not Brookie but perhaps I can help. I see the request that you put on the talk page for Google Wavenet. I would like to thank you for being clear about your potential conflict of interest and asking for help in this manner. I would also like to congratulate you on being so thorough in your sourcing and in following Wikipedia's content guidelines; the proposed text is excellent. All that said, I'm afraid you will probably not like my response, which is that you've done everything correctly which you really could. There isn't, unfortunately, an expected timeframe for edit requests. There are currently 178 requests sitting in the Category:Requested edits, some of which are very old. Editors are volunteers and sometimes it takes a while. The community is currently working on ways to reduce this lag but that probably won't affect your request. I will take a look myself at your request sometime later today. I hope this helps. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 14:09, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your response Eggishorn. I totally understand your response and appreciate anything you can do to help. Please let me know if I can help with anything. Many thanks again for responding.BeeRightHere (talk) 14:26, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@BeeRightHere:, it's not a problem. I'll let you know if I have any concerns either here on on that talk page. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 14:29, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Google Wavenet[edit]

I have added your suggested edits! --Brookie :) { - like the mist - there one moment and then gone!} (Whisper...) 16:08, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Brookie (Whisper...) I really appreciate your help with this. At the risk of pushing my luck ; ) is there any way a page title can be changed? The page is called Google WaveNet, but the technology was not invented by researchers at Google. My suggestion would be to change it to just "WaveNet" or if it has to be more specific "DeepMind WaveNet". Any advice, gratefully received. And thank you again!BeeRightHere (talk) 20:57, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
