Sentient puddle[edit]

Douglas Adams wrote about the sentient puddle. The link is here Douglas Adams' speech at Digital Biota 2

  • Yes, that's my bad. I'm tired, memory not working correctly. :) Beeawwb 15:57, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you no longer think the article should be deleted perhaps you can remove the deletion notice. I'm not allowed to as I wrote the article. Hapy editing.Barbara Shack 16:00, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've added my comments direct to the page itself. The factuality of the article isn't the issue, it's the question of having it separate to the biography itself (the context). I'll remove the CSD nomination and look at this again after some sleep.

Legacy High School[edit]

Hi, I have removed the speedy that you placed on Legacy High School. There is a consensus that high schools are not speediable. In cases, such as this, where a page clearly misses the notability criteria then the consensus is to redirect to the school district. HTH TerriersFan 03:28, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Many thanks, I wasn't aware. Will keep this in mind as I'm looking around. Beeawwb 03:29, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Have you seen List of brackish aquarium fish species. Maybe a redirect to Poecilia sphenops would be better? Gaz (talk?) 14:35, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was going by the first Google result for "Black molly" which showed Poecilia latipinna [1] Beeawwb 14:38, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • I've added information to the Sailfin molly page regarding the black molly hybrid. Will that suffice? Beeawwb 14:56, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I would say that will suffice. Gaz (talk?) 19:40, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Meetup 12 June 2011[edit]

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Liam Wyatt is in town, so we were thinking of doing a quick meetup at Brunelli's cafe in Rundle Street (at the Rundle Mall end, near the car park) at 6pm on Sunday, with a possibility of drinks afterwards. So if you're interested we hope to see you there. :) - Bilby (talk) 21:38, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

RC Patrol-related Proposals in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey[edit]

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages

  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
