Speedy deletion of Hard2Beat

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Hard2Beat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Merenta (talk) 14:59, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Best of N-Trance 1992–2002

[edit]

Hello, I have moved this article to The Best of N-Trance 1992–2002 as requested as it seems both correct and non-controversial. Kind regards. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:59, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Wayne Donnelly

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Wayne Donnelly, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Wayne Donnelly seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Wayne Donnelly, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Speedy deletion declined: Bob, Peter, Bunny & Rita

[edit]

Hello Beej2k6. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Bob, Peter, Bunny & Rita, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The reason given is not a valid speedy deletion criterion. WP:CSD#A7 does not apply to albums, and WP:CSD#A9 does not apply here because the artist has an article. It may well not be notable per WP:NALBUMS, but if you think it should be deleted you will have to use WP:PROD or WP:AFD. JohnCD (talk) 16:41, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
