Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Again, welcome!

A few points
[edit]Firstly, when you leave a message on a talk page, you should always sign-and-datestamp it; this is done by typing four tildes, like so: ~~~~.
Next, about the Q-Store. You're correct in that the article was mercilessly deleted before you could add more info to the history section; this is because I had no way of knowing that you were going to do that. If you're going to create an article, the very first version should give an idea as to why the subject is considered notable. Imagine what would happen if someone found that article via the Random Article link. They'd have no idea why this article existed.; it seems to be nothing more than trivia about the school.
I suggest adding the information to the article on Melbourne High School itself... and to leave out stuff re: slackers and Harry Potter and the microwave oven and so on.

Disclaimer
[edit]I have added the {{userpage}}
disclaimer to your userpage, as it is too much like a mainspace article, which may be confusing for newer users unfamilliar with Wikipedia.
Thankyou for your understanding in this matter. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me (click here to do so).
Yours faithfully,

- Although by default, User: pages do not appear in searches, it is easy (and in some ways easier than in the mainspace) to accidentally find your way to a userpage. It's simply common practice in Wikipedia for pseudomainspace articles to be identified in some way, just to make it easier for newbies. Microchip 08 14:57, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
The file File:Belalrifle.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
orphaned file, no foreseeable use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jon Kolbert (talk) 16:11, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
