Welcome![edit]

Hello, Bella U.A., and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Notes[edit]

Hi! I have some notes:

  • This needs to be edited for tone. It uses wording that would be seen as non-neutral or even promotional, as it uses wording like "passion for". We want to avoid using point of view, subjective terminology and try to be more matter of fact. I've cleaned up some of the content but the artwork section needs to be written to be more neutral. The interpretations of the artwork need to be more clearly attributed as well. (If the interpretations aren't in the sourcing, then we can't include them.)
  • Some of the sections are unsourced, so these need to be referenced.
  • With the exhibitions, I would limit these a little more to just have the ones in the most notable galleries and venues (ie, those locations with articles or with a lot of news coverage), to avoid this from becoming too unwieldy. Also, the section was really confusing when it came to the group exhibitions as it was unclear what was being held when. I would limit this to just the basics:
  • Year, exhibit title, venue(s). (sourcing)
There isn't a huge need to specify who else exhibited with them or the exact dates of when the exhibit was held in a given location. Also, if the exhibit was a traveling exhibit I would create a separate section called "Traveling group exhibition".

I hope this helps! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:04, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
