OK. Did I do this properly? I'd like to add a photo. How do I do that?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Belleami (talkcontribs)
Alright, I recommend adding an infobox. Can you go to the editing page for this page fill the blanks out after the equal signs? Anything you don't know you can just leave blank, and the section won't show up at all. Also, many of the categories would apply to military ships, so not all sections will relate to this in any way.--SwarmTalk 00:17, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

Alright. If possible, would you mind writing a few more sentences going into a little more detail about the theft, the chase to catch the thieves, and the rescue operation? Noting too serious, just a couple more sentences describing the events, but particularly the theft, since it is such an important event. Some specific questions I asked myself when reading the article were:

  • Where were the Fentons during the 10 days the ship was missing? Ashore when the theft took place? Held on the ship by the thieves?
  • What happened during the "chase to capture the thieves"? Were there multiple vessels involved, or was the Colorado del Mar the first ship to catch it?
  • How long was the ship "missing" and how long did the search and rescue operations last?
  • In the Second Voyage section, what does "but printed history cleared any doubt" mean, specifically?

Since the theft is such an important event, again, if you can just write some more about it that would be great. Swarm(Talk) 23:02, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

Please don't dump the URLs for raw Google search results into an article as "references". These are references to specific articles, and should be cited as such. If Sheila Buggeridoo wrote, "Cythera Found" in the July 34th, 2011 issue of the Woolamaloo Grifter and Sailor's Friend on page 777, then you should have it formatted to show that; i.e., "Buggeridoo, Sheila. "Cythera Found". Woolamaloo Grifter and Sailor's Friend, July 34, 2011; p. 777." Don't just give us an external link to a Google search. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:43, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
