The Bells

[edit]

In addition to the welcome message above, I wanted to give something a bit more personal. First, I love your user name! Just a quick note, though. Poem titles are generally not italicized unless they are epic poems. In the case of "The Bells", the title definitely should go in quotes. If you visit WP:POETRY, you'll see a big blue template that links to a bunch of helpful info pages on poetry, including style guides, etc. Best of luck on here, and let me know if you need any help getting situated! --Midnightdreary (talk) 13:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the welcome and the comment about my user name. (I considered "Bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells" but I thought that might be a bit much.) I like your name too.
Thanks also for the info about italics. I thought all titles got italics, so I'm glad you pointed out the correct information. I'll incorrectly italicize poem titles nevermore. I'm sure some users would have treated my well-meaning but incorrect edit more harshly, so thanks for your kind response. Bells, bells, bells (talk) 10:29, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TRM

[edit]

Hey, Bells. You have a pretty strong understanding of how WP works for an editor with only 25 edits over ten years, and of the ten edits you've made since 2014, 4 have involved the same sanctioned editor. This concerns me. What's going on? --valereee (talk) 12:12, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
