Wikimedia Canada

[edit]

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 04:22, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bonnie Pink forums

[edit]

Hey! I saw that you made a bunch of edits to the Bonnie Pink page, and looked to be the only maintainer of it for a while, hahah. Anyway, another Bonnie fan and I have recently made a forum for her, and now we're trying to gather up all the Bonnie fans from where they're spread out all over the internet and see if they want to join. It's totally cool if you don't, but I think it's going to be really cool and I'd love to see all the BP fans joined together in one place. The link's here: http://freckle.tenkeimedia.com/nl/forums/index.php?c=1 so just check it out and see if it sounds like something you want to do. Thanks! Frecklegirl 03:10, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of B2\cafelog

[edit]

B2\cafelog, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that B2\cafelog satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/B2\cafelog and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of B2\cafelog during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. KTC 04:29, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Chemistry

[edit]

Hi Ben,

I see you've been adding some ball-and-stick models to chemical articles.

Perhaps you'd like to join Wikiproject Chemistry. There are plenty of experts (PhD level and above) there who can provide advice and information.

A few interesting places for structure drawing are

There's also my notes on 3D images: User:Benjah-bmm27/MakingMolecules.

Hope these are interesting and/or useful

User categories

[edit]

Ben, I disabled the subject categories in your article Episodic tremor and slip. A user page shouldn't show up in article space (see WP:USERNOCAT). You can remove the colon from the front of each category when you submit the article. Looks like it will be a good article! RockMagnetist (talk) 19:39, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, thanks for the compliments. Ben Webber (talk) 01:57, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Episodic tremor and slip, a page you created has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace. If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13. Thank you for your attention. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
