3cs log
I hope this is part of my 3cs log. I added a synopsis to the Faith of the Graffiti article and some links. I found two sources for the paper, however, one of them did not want to connect on my laptop even though it worked previously. Madwoman (book) moved to draftspace[edit]

"Critiquing articles""
Wikipedia is a living organism that is growing and changing by the minute. The amount of time and work put into a single article is astounding. I was unaware of Wikipedia's rating system and importance scale. The number of security features built into Wikipedia is reassuring and shows that some articles are credible and reliable. I chose to critique the article on Shara McCallum an American/Jamaican poet. I noted that it needed to be updated and expanded. I also realized that none of her works had their own Wikipedia page so I created one on her newest work Madwoman. I decided to update her page with her newest awards and work and then focused primarily on the Madwoman article.
""Sunmnarizing your contributions""
For FOG I wrote the original synopsis and contributed to its numerous revisions along with writing sections in style and Publication. My biggest contributions to Fog, in my personal opinion, was my addition of sources to the bibliography and citation pages and my editing throughout the creation of the article. I found many of the books and articles quoted in the article and expanded the bibliography. Once the majority of the article was written I went through each section and fixed punctuation errors, poorly written sentences, and places where the writing was disjointed. Likewise, I removed sections that were written in a manner conflicting with Wikipedia standards. For Shara McCallum, I made minor edits to the page, updated the information, and ensured the accuracy of the information. The Madwoman article I wrote entirely. I did independent research, learned how to format a Wikipedia page, and created sections based on the requirements. The article went through several iterations but I am content with the finished product.

""Peer Review""
The peer-review process was extremely beneficial! I was given excellent feedback by @Acmunoz14: on how to expand my article and sections to incorporate. She suggested incorporating new sections that talked about the author's background, writing process, and overcoming. The peer-review also allowed me to see how others were approaching their projects and their general outlines and setup. I tried to inform my peers of necessary changes, mostly proof-reading and writing for Wikipedia, and encouraged them to continue with their work. I peer-reviewed two articles- Capricorn Records and Little Men. Capricorn Records needed a lot of work and development with most of the sections being blank. Little Men was in a good place but needed some expanding and proofreading.
""Feedback""
I was given feedback in the FOG article after removing sections I felt were biased, I was sure to quote the sections and put them on the talk page so if the person disagreed they would still have the available work. My Madwoman page was flagged for copyright violation due to a mistake I made when I put notes I was making to my live page instead of my sandbox. I appreciated the copyright flag and was sure to avoid any such mistakes in the future.
""Wikipedia generally""
I learned that writing and maintaining a Wikipedia article is significantly more difficult than I imagined. Each article takes an enormous amount of time and forces people to communicate in an unorthodox manner. Writing for Wikipedia is a unique experience, unlike anything I have ever done. The technical writing aspects are informative and the research and citations are approached differently from a normal research assignment. Wikipedia offers a quick place for people to find (hopefully if maintained) reliable information on any given topic. - You should use proper subheads here, correct wiki links, and correct formatting (Madwoman is a book, right? This was apparently your project, though you never claimed it in the WIkiEdu dashboard). These would be evidence of your learned literacy of the platform this semester. Also, I question your use of "unorthodox" and "normal"; I does not sound as if you feel editing WP was rewarding as maybe writing a research paper would have been. (Am I reading too much into this?)
