Vaccine related articles[edit]

I was notified that you were debating editing vaccine related articles. This is an extremely controversial area on Wikipedia and it's an area where even established and experienced Wikipedia editors would be likely to run into debate and issues. It's also health and medicine related, so you would need to review this training module fairly closely. I'd recommend reviewing this page closely as well.

I would recommend not editing anything that is B rated or above, nor would it be a good idea to edit any of these articles live. Something else to take into consideration is that if the article has a little padlock on the top right hand corner of the page, I would recommend passing over that as an editing candidate. Out of the list, I would say that the article on active immunization looks to be the best candidate, however here's another option - you may want to look into creating an article on a notable book or film dealing with the anti-vax movement.

I would absolutely recommend that if you do want to edit on this topic area, that you work in your sandbox first and then post to the article's talk page to solicit feedback. I would not post directly to the articles prior to that, as this is an area where I'd say that much or most of all additions tend to get reverted or heavily edited within a day after being posted, if not sooner.
