Andy Partridge[edit]

Hi. I noticed your additions there and I thought I would point you to WP:COI which is our guideline on situations like this. Please pass on my regards to him as I am a great fan. Best wishes, --John (talk) 20:19, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message, and for saying you would pass on my regards. Your edits were fine and I'm sorry if you thought I implied otherwise. I just thought reading that policy would maybe save you hassle in the future. Best wishes, --John (talk) 02:56, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good to see you here, Todd; there's hope for the XTC-related stuff![edit]

Hi, Todd, welcome to "Thickipedia" -- I'm happy to see you here to watch over the AP article and a few others. I don't know how much of an effort this will turn out to be, but it might be more than you think. I have edited and re-edited articles on others, only to find them completely destroyed later. And I don't mean "'they' had a different style than I do," I mean often they have (effectively) no style or sense of structure, or truth for that matter. It can be exhausting.

I've basically given up keeping structure intact; my basic premise now is to watch for patent untruths and try to keep them out.

Anyway, keep up the good work. Jtnet (talk) 12:59, 23 June 2008 (UTC) (Jeff)[reply]
