Speedy deletion nomination of Aprjc venkatagiri
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Aprjc venkatagiri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Randykitty (talk) 12:23, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
Advice
[edit]Your article was very short and full of puffery - "prestigious... high standard education... excellent faculty... " etc. Wikipedia requires a neutral point of view, and anything that seems like an advertisement is deleted at once. That is true even for good causes - see Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause.
I assume that you are connected with the college, in which case you have, from Wikipedia's ppoint of view, a WP:Conflict of interest.
Read WP:Your first article, and then read WP:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Then, if you want to write an article, go to Help:Userspace draft and fill in the title there. That will create a place where you can work on a draft article, with a link to send it, when it is ready, to WP:Articles for creation, where an experienced user will look at it and either accept it or give you feedback.
