Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Bhargavil. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Shyama Raju, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 08:48, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This also applies to REVA University. You should not edit until you have made your paid-contribution disclosure. Cabayi (talk) 08:50, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tittle Change

[edit]

Dear Team,

Please rename the title Shyama Raju to Dr. P. Shyama Raju

Bhargavil (talk) 09:35, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That would not conform to Wikipedia's naming convention. Cabayi (talk) 17:39, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:17, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you continue to add content like "a consistent facilitator of knowledge and education", you will be blocked as a spammer. Normal human beings do not talk like that. Only press releases sound like that. Please note that if you are paid to edit Wikipedia, you must disclose this. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:20, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

September 2022

[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Shyama Raju while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 10:02, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As you have continued to edit I have filed a report at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bhargavil where you can present your explanation. Cabayi (talk) 11:39, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Dr. P Shyama Raju per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Dr. P Shyama Raju. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
