KVRR vandalism[edit]

You need to stop vandalizing the KVRR article. Wikipedia is NOT the place for you to air your grievances about this station. Editors can be blocked for vandalism and accounts that have been primarily used for vandalism (as has your's) are usually blocked indefinitely. Please consider this a warning. --MatthewUND(talk) 05:46, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, you should know that I have not been a contributer to the KVRR article. I merely am an active member of Wikipedia:WikiProject North Dakota and keep a close eye on all North Dakota-related articles. You are correct in saying that this article could use some references, but you're incorrect in stating that unsourced statements regarding awards and viewership are the same as your unsourced, POV statements regarding the station. Mentions of awards and viewership are obvious things that one would expect to find in a TV station article. Would you really expect to read an encyclopedia entry for a TV station and find negative statements about the way the station does or doesn't air football games? Of course not. Perhaps your statements are 100% true, but they are not the type of thing that belongs in an encyclopedia. --MatthewUND(talk) 20:28, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your comments. I'm very happy that you can see where I'm coming from and I'm happy we seem to have settled this in a civil manner. We can always use more editors on Wikipedia and I hope you would consider making worthwhile edits to articles. --MatthewUND(talk) 22:53, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
