The game plays[edit]

As you know, this article has been nominated for deletion. Please don't take this personally. Let me explain the problem with the article: for a subject to be worthy of having an article in an encyclopaedia, it must already be notable. There are billions of subjects out there that could have encyclopaedia articles written about them, but they're not all worth having one about. The rule here on Wikipedia is that a subject must already have come to public attention in some way; it must be important enough that there will be people who want to read about it. And the way we determine that is by seeing who else has already written about it. WP can't be the first place to write about something, because everything on WP has to rely on outside sources. If your game proves popular, and spreads beyond your small group of friends, try getting your local paper to write about it. That would be a start on making it notable enough to deserve an encyclopaedia article.

Meanwhile, please don't give up on editing Wikipedia. There's a lot you could write about, or you could just fix mistakes if you find them. Here's a good place to start. -- Zsero (talk) 17:47, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How I knew your grade[edit]

In the article you gave your school name, and the names of the game's inventors. The first thing I did was to google those, to see whether there was anything to this game — was it real, was it mentioned anywhere, did the inventors become famous? And the first hit I got was the "Class of 2012" list for your school, with all three inventors on it. The conclusion was obvious. (Don't worry, I've already forgotten all those names and couldn't find that page again.) -- 23:10, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
