Is the only formal MoS link I can find that discusses whether "As per" is correct, and they say it is fine according to Webster's. Further to that, while the Wikipedia MoS doesn't mention it, it does use "As per" quite a lot - I gave an example in the edit summary. I think it's fair to say that "As per" is correct, grammatically and stylistically speaking, even though it might be considered a tautology in some quarters.

Whether it's your preference to avoid it is another matter; I find the use of a lone "per" to disrupt the flow of the sentence since I'm expecting an "as" to come before it. That's not to say that being concise doesn't have its place - certainly if I was writing a telegram, I would think twice. JN5556649 (talk) 22:41, 7 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
