Ingleby

[edit]

Do have a look its grown a bit ...

railay station

[edit]

You might be right , but its wasn'y my asseterion but came from a trade journal (which could be wrong!). Do change it.... I think getting a train into Ticknall would be clever with it being in a valley.

I lloked it up. I read

Whipple's Directory of Derbyshire, 1935 INGLEBY is a township in the parish of Foremark, and is 7 miles south of Derby. The population in 1931 was 98. Chellaston, 3 miles distant, is the nearest railway station. Ticknall, 1½ miles distant, is the nearest Money Order Office,

and misread Ticknall as nearest railway —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Victuallers (talkcontribs) 18:04, 14 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Marking changes as minor

[edit]

Information icon Hi Biofuelsimon! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Matlock, Derbyshire that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. --Rocknrollmancer (talk) 23:18, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
