Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Ayesha Jahanzeb. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 18:58, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi User:cyberpower678, I have dropped a message in your talk page. Have a look on that Bishal revenger (talk) 05:21, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Anthony J Sharpe.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Anthony J Sharpe.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Train2104 (t • c) 21:41, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

April 2017

Information icon Hello Bishal revenger. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at WALL CLIMBER. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. VQuakr (talk) 07:49, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

This also was an incorrect nomination, because there was enough context to identify the subject. VQuakr (talk) 07:50, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the correction @VQuakr: Bishal revenger (talk) 11:19, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Information icon Please read carefully WP:NPP and WP:DELETE before continuing with your new page patrolling, and about foreign language new articles, first list the page at WP:PNT and wait some time before PRODing the article for being in a foreign language. trout Self-trout per the welcome, confused your username or something (I should really go to sleep), read my message above anyways. Lil Johnny (talk) 11:17, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Haha. Thanks for the info anyway. Cheers Bishal revenger (talk) 11:18, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Please slow down and focus on quality

After my warning above, you proceeded to do this on a three-minute old article. You need to slow down and focus on quality now; your edits are currently worse than doing nothing at all. Generally, you should have a very good reason for editing any article that is less than 30 minutes old at all. VQuakr (talk) 15:24, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 22

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rural municipality, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nepali. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:53, 22 April 2017 (UTC)

Elina Nulman speedy decline

A11 does not apply to real people. Further asserts significance. Just because it is COI or autobi does not subject it to A11 Dlohcierekim 06:12, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

@Dlohcierekim: Alright, thanks for the update. However, the article seems of no credible importance and the external links provide no relation to the subject of the article whatsoever. I missed linking A7 to the article. So A7 perhaps? Bishal revenger (talk) 10:58, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
Do reread csd A11. (The wording isn't very clear there. A11 applies to a things like neologisms used only by a small group of people thinking they were clever and thinking their wit deserves an article.) It does make an assertion of significance, a lower standard than notability. This is a distinction that many users have trouble with, including me when I first started reviewing pages. If it makes a claim of significance, but is clearly not notable, then we should ProD. I see what she did with the e-links. If they don't support the article they should be wikified. If no article exists to link to, they should be unlinked. If there are no supporting links, BLPProD applies. Dlohcierekim 18:13, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Hello,
I have removed your speedy nomination from the page. It does not redirect to a non-existent page, nor to itself, nor to a page subject to deletion process. The redirect is to a valid page (Anglo-Saxon London) and to an appropriate section on 10th century London where the topic is mentioned. It therefore does not seem to fit any of the criteria detailed in the speedy notice. Regards, Eagleash (talk) 16:01, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Kaushal Desai

Hello, I just noticed that you tagged Kaushal Desai with G10. G10 is a criteria very specifically for pages that "disparage, threaten, intimidate, or harass their subject or some other entity, and serve no other purpose." The page was nothing more than an A7 in my understanding (possibly a G11 as well). Since attack pages are taken very seriously, wrongly tagging an article with G10 might come off as biting and discourage the new editor from editing further. A G11 tag sends the creator a firm and a not-so-welcoming message which could potentially discourage them since they were not actually editing in bad faith. If it was a mis-click and your intend was to go for G11, that's alright. In any case, nothing's lost and I just wanted to leave a message about this. Thank you for patrolling new pages and your edits to the site. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any. Best, — Yash talk stalk 18:16, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

@Yash!: I tagged G10 considering no valid refs were added. Anyway, you seemed to have tagged with db-animal. Maybe it should be replaced with db-person Bishal Shrestha (talk) 18:24, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
A lack of reference does not mean the page is "attacking" someone. I would suggest you to read WP:FIELD; it's a great essay to learn about proper CSD tagging. About db-animal, how that happened is a little bit beyond me since it wasn't a mis-click for sure (person and animal are far apart in Twinkle). Anyway, thank you for letting me know. Cheers, — Yash talk stalk 18:32, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
a G10 in Twinkle shows for unsourced BLP(and Attack page) as well. I'd tagged it for G10 using this rationale db-negublp. Bishal Shrestha (talk) 18:37, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
Negublp is only applicable to "an article about a living person that is entirely negative in tone and unsourced, where there is no neutral version in the history to revert to." For unsourced articles, you can simply tag them with Template:Unreferenced or a variation of that. A lack of reference does not qualify an article for speedy deletion (because you don't really need sources to be present in the article to establish notability; you just need the sources to be present on the internet or offline - see WP:BEFORE), let alone for G10. Regards, — Yash talk stalk 18:47, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
thanks for clearing that out. Buzzing off now. I suppose sleep is what I need atm. Kudos though Bishal Shrestha (talk) 18:50, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

April 2017

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. You talk page and archives are a steady stream of feedback regarding your overhasty and ill-considered deletion nominations, for example you recently you did this on a five-minute old article. The very next time you add a deletion nomination to an article less than 14 days old, I will pursue a topic ban against you to prevent further damage to the encyclopedia per WP:BITE. VQuakr (talk) 06:50, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

I also reiterate my concern over any deletion tagging at all. Improving articles is more needed that deleting them. Please, before tagging for deletion, attempt to improve the article in question by searching for sources and attempt to add content. And give the creator time. Some new editors cannot create an article on the first edit. When I first started, I had article hastily tagged for deletion. It felt like a slap in the face. That is very discouraging, and we have WP:BITE for a reason. Dlohcierekim 17:21, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:List of Gaupalika, from its old location at User:Bishal Shrestha/sandbox/List of Gaupalika. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 15:26, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

User:KGirlTrucker81 Can you move the talk page as well? Bishal Shrestha (talk) 15:31, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

Gaupalika

Bro, there is already a page List of Rural Municipalities in Nepal for Gaupalika. It will be better to edit in that page which better format like yours. Airkeeper (talk) 05:49, 11 June 2017 (UTC)

@Airkeeper: Bro, that page is moved from List of village development committees of Nepal to List of Rural Municipalities in Nepal, and I believe that the change should be undone as it will affect the list of VDCs, as we will be needing them in future. Bishal Shrestha (talk) 13:16, 11 June 2017 (UTC)

You really need to look at this before creating any Gaupalika pages. I just committed a mistake by making Budhiganga, Morang as list made by you. You need to correct List of Gaupalika after reading the above source and comparing to Rajpatra Gazette. Cheers. Airkeeper (talk) 05:58, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for the update bro. I missed that out. Will revise the list later today. Bishal Shrestha (talk) 06:06, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

Ways to improve List of Nepalese films of 2017

Hi, I'm Boleyn. Bishal Shrestha, thanks for creating List of Nepalese films of 2017!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add your source(s).

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Boleyn (talk) 19:18, 3 August 2017 (UTC)

I noticed you created this article but the coordinates given are not in Nepal, they are in the Bay of Bengal. While investigating this, I found that Phakphok already exists. I do not know enough about Nepal to determine if this is the same place. I realize that the VDCs have been eliminated, but if this is the same place then Phakphok should be updated. MB 03:58, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

I have changed the coordinates to match the exact location. Phakphok is a VDC which is no longer in existence after the renaming and grouping of the VDCs into Gaupalika. AmchokPhakphokPhuyatappaLumdeEktappaChamaita, Ilam were merged to form Phakphokthung. The older pages for VDCs remain for historical and reference purposes. Thanks for looking into this Bishal Shrestha (talk) 13:51, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. ⚠

Thanks for uploading File:KIEC Official Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:41, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
