Welcome![edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from University of Stirling. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to University of Stirling, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Drchriswilliams (talk) 10:28, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm curious to know what your relationship with the university is. Are you an employee that has been asked to edit this page? Quite clearly there have been several accounts which have not declared an interest but have removed independent sources and put in links to pages on the university's own website. Alongside this skewing of sources to self-published webpages, a vast amount of promotion descriptions have been added. Drchriswilliams (talk) 10:50, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
