A tag has been placed on User:Blkfrasure/Colten Cowell Foundation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Request reason:

What can I do to get my account unblocked? My name is Blake Frasure https://www.linkedin.com/in/blakefrasure/. Bfrasure is my Dad's account. He's been helping me get started on Wikipedia. I have been trying to contribute to and learn how Wikipedia works as well as write articles. Blkfrasure (talk) 1:56 pm, 6 November 2021, last Saturday (7 days ago) (UTC−7)

Accept reason:

Accepted per the below section and lack of opposition from RoySmith (blocking admin). TheSandDoctor Talk 05:30, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock comments[edit]

I am concerned that we made an attempt to contact both of you, and you (plural) failed to respond until we took action to block your accounts. I imagine whoever looks at the unblock request will need a reasonable explanation of why you didn't respond. And more importantly, an understanding that you've read our policies on sockpuppetry and conflicts of interest. And a disclosure, typically a notice on your user page(s), of how your accounts are related.

As the blocking admin, I have no objection to this account being unblocked, but I'll leave the final decision for somebody else. -- RoySmith (talk) 21:45, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I don't log in very often. Thanks for the suggestion to update my profile page. Blkfrasure (talk)
Why would you want a sock-master & his socks unblocked? GoodDay (talk) 16:18, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@TheSandDoctor: Thanks for taking a look at this. Yes, we have read both the Sockpuppetry and COI policies but he'll respond separately later in the day. We understand why they were put in place for sure especially given the increased importance and credibility of Wikipedia, as well as the continued desire for people to adjust Wikipedia to meet their objectives. Also given the comments I'm seeing on my talk page, I can see that our accounts will continue to confuse people unless we do our best to build the profile, work on separate topics and try our best to avoid the appearance of a COI to keep the articles as objective and unbiased as possible. --Bob Frasure (talk) 07:06, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've read and understand the conflict of interest and the sockpuppet articles. Please let me know if there is anything else I would need to cover. --Blkfrasure (talk) 05:03, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(CC Bfrasure) I will go ahead and unblock assuming good faith and giving a second chance. I would recommend placing Template:User shared IP address or a similar statement on your respective user pages and abiding by the above. --TheSandDoctor Talk 05:27, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Unblocked. --TheSandDoctor Talk 05:31, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
