Happy editing! Wikishovel (talk) 09:31, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding the event info, but it was very informal. Almost read like a personal blog or something. It was also way too long and way too over detailed. There should only be about a paragraph summary for each match, unless it's a large match like the Royal Rumble which may need more. JDC808 00:25, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You also failed to mention what matches you're talking about. For example, the pre-show started as "Headscissors from Sydal and a hurracanrana, Trent ducks a roundhouse kick and heads to the outside." Okay, but you never told us what this match is. You just immediately went into the action. We need to know what the match is and who is in it. So it should start as: "In the first match of the pre-show, Trent Beretta faced Matt Sydal". Then you can start explaining, concisely, what happened in the match. JDC808 00:29, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dear JDC808, thanks for the reply on my talk page, I do apologise for any confusion or mistakes on the Dynasty page. In the future, I will try and make the page a lot smaller.

Updating active rikishi list[edit]

I am the editor who originally thunk up the list in its current form and have been updating it for some 15 years. I appreciate your enthusiasm. But first you completely skipped the sorting wiki mark up (to the left on each rank line, looks e15e etc) which is necessary to keep rikishi in the right order in reference to the banzuke, you skipped diacritics on things like jūryō (not juryo), you left all the lower ranked guys, and if they dropped to the lower ranks, you just left them that way, and I had to go and find out where they had dropped in order to update.. And you also missed a few, Hiradoumi for example had not been updated. Ah, and if a rikishi is debuting at a high rank, they should be marked in bold (or unmarked if they fall to another rank) and figuring that out after the fact, when someone has already made change is very confusing, amongst the rest of the confusion for half made changes. I decided to trust you that you got the updates for the actual listed ranks correct and that did speed updating the sorting part a bit for the top two divisions, so that was useful. In the end, despite all the stuff I had to fix, it probably saved me a bit of time. Thanks. There is a guide in the talk section of the page for how to properly update the list in case I don't get to it fast enough. Next time if you want to take a stab, please look there first. Have it good. FourTildes (talk) 00:36, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
