Hello, Bmarkovic.79. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Optical (musician), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

I'd suggest that you move the article to Ed Rush and Optical and rewrite it as being about the duo, otherwise it is likely to be deleted. Hzh (talk) 10:11, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed move

[edit]

I think the sources in the Optical (musician) article are not sufficient to justify an article on the individual, but can justify an article on the duo Ed Rush & Optical. If you don't object, I will do this in a few days' time (the content will be adjusted). The article on Optical can always be recreated if you can find sufficient sources about musician alone (and not as part of the duo). However, if you object, you can remove the deletion tag, and try to add sources about the musician independent of the duo (simple listing sites will not be enough). If sources are insufficient to establish notability for the musician, then the article will be proposed for deletion in an AfD discussion. This AfD will be determined by the community to see if the article should be kept or deleted. Hzh (talk) 13:48, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Hzh: I have edited the article to, among other things, add a reference to an article that is specifically about Optical as a separate artist that mentions his other collaborations, solo work, and remixes, and that additionally enforces the claim about the notability of the "To Shape The Future" release. --Bmarkovic.79 (talk) 06:29, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It is a good source and I'm happy with it for now, but note the requirement for multiple nontrivial independent coverage per WP:MUSICBIO. I would therefore recommend adding at least another source (as already indicated, Discogs and other listing sites do not qualify for notability purposes, and AllMusic only counts when it has a professional review), otherwise there is always the risk that someone else may nominate it for deletion. Notice

The article Nuxt.js has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have added multiple additional resources from notable online publications. I further object proposed deletion on the following grounds:
- The editor that added proposal didn't demonstrate enough technical background in subject matter of software development or information technology to be able to knowledgeably assert either notability or lack of.
- The article subject passes the Wikipedia:SET: see: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%205-y&q=nuxt or https://www.google.com/search?q=nuxt
The editor didn't observe Wikipedia:NEXIST in good faith which is evident by lacking the minimum legwork required to find the myriad relevant resources on subject matter online.
