If you think having two links to the same page right next to each other isn't overdoing it, you need to read WP:OVERLINK. – PeeJay 20:55, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Djibril Cissé and the 2006 cup final[edit]

Hello. I undid your addition to the Djibril Cissé article that said the 2006 FA Cup final was "widely considered to be one of the greatest FA Cup Finals ever played" because it needed references to reliable published sources to back it up, to show that it is a generally accepted fact and not just tabloid hype or someone's personal opinion. If you can add references to independent sources, i.e. not fansites or the winning team's local paper, that confirm that the match to be "widely considered to be one of the greatest FA Cup Finals ever played", please feel free to add the wording back to the article, together with the references. Thanks for your understanding, Struway2 (talk) 11:19, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
